Rashad Blossom

“I’ve had that entrepreneurial spirit in me ever since I was a kid,” says Rashad when asked about his beginnings. He’s not exaggerating, either. At 19, Rashad started his own barbershop, Rychess Cut barbershop, which he owned and operated for 5 years, building upon his haircutting expertise he started pursuing at 14. In the years since then, Rashad has proved time and time again what he is capable of with a little bit of determination and passion.

Follow that down the road a bit, and Rashad is a business owner and graduate of the University of Alabama with his Juris Doctor, pursuing his passion for helping people through results-driven business and financial expertise. He spent time as a Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Distressed Investing Partner for a larger firm, offering legal advice and other services for a variety of different kinds of cases. He was successful in many negotiations and enjoyed helping his clients navigate the legal system.

“As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, I believe that the number of bankruptcies will rival or exceed the number filed in the wake of the Great Recession,” says Rashad. An issue particularly pressing to him in light of his work with Blossom Law. With this in mind, Rashad Blossom is taking his wisdom online, hoping to spread awareness and guidance to aspiring financial professionals and people just looking for some peace of mind.

In May 2019, one of Rashad’s clients prevailed at the U.S. Supreme Court. “That’s an achievement I may not ever have again for the duration of my career.”

Though Rashad Blossom did enjoy working for a larger firm, his dream was always to be able to help people in need who might not have the financial ability to utilize expensive lawyers. Eventually, he chose to pursue that dream, founding Blossom Law PLLC. At his private practice, Rashad focuses on helping people filing for bankruptcy, advising small businesses with financial issues, and has even taken on personal injury cases. He is always looking for ways to help people in need and finds his work to be incredibly rewarding.

In his spare time, you can probably find Rashad Blossom spending time fishing, particularly deep sea fishing.
